Cash for Kids Cost of Living Fund

A new £1 million fund has been launched to support the UK’s most vulnerable families during the cost-of-living crisis. The Fund will target families with a genuine need for support and suffering from disadvantage due to the crisis, allowing them to apply for grants of £50 per child which can be used for basic essentials such as food, heating, clothing, and school uniform. Service providers who support vulnerable children, including schools, social services, health professionals and charities, can apply on behalf of the families they work with. Applications will close when all funding has been allocated. Cash for Kids aims to get the funds to families as soon as possible. https://cashforkids.org.uk/grants

National Lottery Community Fund

In response to the cost-of-living crisis, funding is available for projects that help support individuals, families and communities currently experiencing financial hardship. Through the Cost-of-Living Support Scotland Grants programme, grants of between £10,001 and £75,000 will be awarded for activity that increases resilience and reduces the impact of/prevents financial insecurity amongst vulnerable communities. Examples of the types of projects that could be funded include money advice projects, mental health projects, projects bringing people together for activities under one roof, and ‘warm room’ projects. Applications can be made at any time. https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/funding/programmes/cost-of-living-support-fund
