Citizens Assembly
Third sector organisations provide an important participation route. But for many citizens not aligned with an established group, it can be hard to find ways to get engaged and be heard.
The VOICE Citizens Assembly has been developed to give unaligned members of the public an opportunity to come together, discuss issues and provide views on a range of topics of interest to communities across West Dunbartonshire.
Assembly sessions will help contribute the voice of lived experience to public debate and bring new perspectives to the heart of decision-making.
Participants at each session will reflect the local population around geography, demographics and the range of attitudes on the topic, to keep the conversation lively.
