NHSGGC would like to hear your views to help them improve their digital health information hub – currently called My Health Navigator. My Health Navigator aims to make it easier to understand self management, where to go for help, and to increase confidence when navigating appointments with NHS services. They want to make sure the information is clear, useful, and works for everyone. Your feedback is important and will remain anonymous.

Examining the costs of Scotland’s drug crisis
Scotland’s drug crisis carries a profound toll, with hundreds of lives lost each year. A report from Social Market Foundation presents new economic analysis of those costs, examining their consequences across the public sector and the wider Scottish economy. Drawing on qualitative insights from policy experts, service leaders, and clinicians, as well as people who use drugs, the research explores the measures the new Scottish Government can take to alleviate the crisis. It ultimately advocates for a full-spectrum approach, spanning harm reduction and recovery-focused interventions. Read the report here

Power of Attorney Day 22 April 2026
Carers Scotland and Standard Life have joined forces to launch the first ever UK-wide Power of Attorney Day which will take place on Wednesday 22 April. The initiative aims to raise awareness and understanding of powers of attorney and to encourage more people to put them in place. Despite the importance of powers of attorney, many people delay setting them up due to myths and misconceptions about what they are and how they work. The campaign, part of a UK wide initiative run by Carers UK, will tackle these misunderstandings and highlight how having power of attorney can make a vital difference. Read more here
