Happy Volunteers Week
From everyone at WDCVS, we would like to wish everyone a very happy Volunteers Week 2026. Every day across West Dunbartonshire volunteersย provide a range of services and supports that make our communities stronger, more connected and resilient. Volunteers week gives us the opportunity to say a huge thank you.
To volunteers everywhere, thank you.

The Climate Action Hub at WDCVS is looking for volunteers!
The Hub supports local community groups to raise awareness and encourage climate action โ butย donโtย worry, youย wonโtย need to be a climate expert to apply! Tasks may include managing emails, researching funding opportunities, supporting Hub activities, and attending community events. Whether you want to gain experience, refresh your skills, or give back to your community, your time will make a real difference. In return, we offer a warm, supportive environment and the chance to help communities take positive action for a greener future. Find out more and apply

The Power of Youth Day
Power of Youth Day is back today โ and this year, itโs all about Common Ground. In a world that can feel increasingly polarised, Common Ground is our collective response: a celebration of what unites us. For Power of Youth Day 2026, the #iWill Movement is challenging organisations to step forward and share how theyโre turning belief into action โ and how theyโre embedding youth power into the heart of their work through the Power of Youth Charter.
