Age Scotland
The Encouraging and Supporting Grassroots Activity Fund supported by funding from the Scottish Government is offering grants to help local groups deliver activities that reduce social isolation, improve wellbeing and strengthen community support for people affected by dementia. The fund welcomes applications from organisations working in: Rural and remote communities; areas experiencing multiple derivation; Ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities and communities with protected characteristics. Forte Charitable Foundation
Providing grants for running costs to charities and not for profit organisations for work which addresses the challenges of local communities. The Foundation’s preference is to fund front line organisations working directly with people in need, where projects have a focus on community support. Projects must be based in areas of extreme deprivation and postcode must be ranked within the most deprived 15% of the latest Index of Multiple Deprivation. Access the fund

Screwfix Foundation
Supporting projects that improve, fix and repair buildings, homes and facilities specifically used by people in need throughout the UK, the foundation will fund projects that: Improve energy efficiency lighting and heating; Installation of new kitchen, bathroom’s; Installation of a sensory room; General painting and decorating; Improving safety and security of a building. The National Churches Trust
Grants are available towards urgent and essential maintenance and repair projects, as well as supporting project development and investigative work up to RIBA planning stage 1 to support churches preparing for a major project. Christian places of worship of any denomination can apply, churches, chapels, meeting houses and cathedrals. Access the fund

Wise Music Foundation
The Foundation provides financial support for people experiencing hardship, distress and illness with a focus on children, the homeless and people living in poverty. Recipients of the Wise Music Foundation donations are primarily children, older people and the disabled. Despite familiar areas such as education, cultural activities and arts & heritage, the foundation often helps with health issues, food banks and other worthy causes. Access the fund

The Morrisons Foundation
The Foundation aims to make a positive difference to people’s lives with special consideration for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups. The Connecting Communities grants offer funding to charities who provide place based services to an entire community or specific groups.
