Join us for a week of events, workshops, training and conversations exploring how we can build stronger, more resilient communities and take action on climate change and biodiversity loss.
Monday 7 September — Climate Conversations
Two new podcasts will be available on the WDCVS website:
- Verture — exploring the importance of preparing our communities for climate change.
- Scottish Government — looking at the development of the Climate Hub programme and the impact it has had so far.

The WD Climate Action Hub is developing a community-led strategy shaped by lived experiences and local priorities to strengthen our response and resilience to climate change.
Please share your views with us in this short survey. There are three sections. It will take approximately 12 minutes to complete.
Once you have completed this survey, you will have the option to enter a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher. There will be one individual winner and one organisation/community group winner. Winners will be announced before the end of December 2026.
