Managing a long-term health conditions can be challenging. West Dunbartonshire residents looking to find out more about the range of support available are encouraged to come along to the next Self-Management Assembly meeting in Clydebank Town Hall on Wednesday 29th April 2026.
This drop-in event will bring together over 20 health care charities allowing residents to learn and connect with the services offered. Charities due to attend are Breast Cancer Now, Pain Concern, Headway Clyde, Spinal Injuries Scotland and Versus Arthritis.
WDCVS Chief Officer Selina Ross said, ‘With the number of local people living with a single or often multiple long-term conditions rising each year, we want to support people to come together, and we are delighted so many charities have agreed to come along’.
George Murphy, coordinating the day added, ‘This is our third assembly and interest has certainly grown over the last year. We are grateful to all the groups giving their time and’.
The Assembly is free of charge to attend will be open between 10.00am and 12.30pm.
