Why not give volunteering a fresh look?
West Dunbartonshire CVS is hosting its Summer Volunteer’s Fair in Clydebank Town Hall on Tuesday 18th August from 11am – 2pm to help local residents connect with a range of local community and voluntary organisations.
Volunteering is a great way of learning new skills or just using the ones you already have for the benefit of your community. Or if you are looking to gain experience to help with a job search or a change of career, volunteering could be for you.
Fair organiser Kathleen McCulloch said, “With summer coming to an end, we know that people will be looking for new challenges and things to do. Volunteering is a great way of doing that and there is such a variety of different opportunities available, I would encourage people to come along and speak to the groups directly.”
