The Fore offers development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities and social enterprises. It makes unrestricted grants which have the potential to have a big impact on your organisation, i.e. enabling your organisation to take a step forward in its development or giving you a chance to do something you couldn’t before. THE DWF Foundation
The Foundation supports homelessness, health and wellbeing, employability, education, environment and sustainability. The fund particularly helps with initiatives that develop and improve local communities by: Tackling a specific community issue; helping voluntary and community groups become more effective and efficient; Encouraging the involvement in the community of those too often excluded and enabling young people to develop skills for the benefit of the community. Woodward Charitable Trust
Funding is available for summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5-16 years with preference given to: Small local play schemes that provide a wide-ranging programme of activities; Schemes that involve a large number of children; Schemes where past users are encouraged to come back and help as volunteers. The trustees prioritise activities that are relatively inexpensive such as crafts and cooking, as well as outdoor activities and sport, the trustees only fund programmes that run for a minimum of 2 weeks or 10 days across the summer holidays. TNL-Community Action
The fund is aimed at communities in Scotland, people who share an identity, interest or experience, or people living in the same place. Offering funding from £20,001 to £250,000 for up to 5 years. Looking for projects that will help people connect more with each other and will support projects that are open, inclusive and led by their community. Your project must achieve at least 2 of these outcomes: Build positive relationships; support people’s health or wellbeing; Help people improve their connection to nature and make a positive difference to the environment.
