Disability Equality Scotland have been asked by the Scottish Government to carry out a survey on the introduction of a Social Tariff for energy. A social tariff is a discounted energy bill targeted at those facing higher energy costs, or who may be on a lower income, such as disabled people.
They also want to know disabled people’s views on independent living costs and support energy companies could provide.
