Resourcing

West Dunbartonshire CVS receives funding from the Scottish Government and relevant charitable grant making bodies to resource our provision of support services, engagement activities, sector research and as a contribution towards core running costs. This does not meet the full costs of our core service, requiring us, from time to time, to make applications to grant making bodies. We also raise funds through consultancy and training services. 

Mindful of our third sector funding support role, we make every effort to limit applications and contract responses and will seek opportunities for consortium and partnership bids where possible.

Our commitment to co-production means that we provide support to a small range of volunteer-led projects, for which we may also need to seek resources from external funding bodies.

West Dunbartonshire CVS will not be influenced in its decision making by funder interventions.
