Learning and Skills

Keeping your skills and knowledge up-to-date is important and our skills and training programme has been designed to help community and third sector organisations across West Dunbartonshire, do just that.

Our training team bring years of experience allowing us to provide the practical examples and exercises you need to get the maximum from your time with us.

All courses have been adapted for delivery in-person and virtually. Course capacity is 12 attendees per session.

In person courses are delivered from our Training Suite in Arcadia Business Centre, just five minutes from Clydebank Railway Station and Chalmers Street Transport Hub.

Most courses are free of charge. Where charges are applied, a charge of £25 per half day course and £35 per full day course will generally apply. To allow us to maintain low prices, payment is required in advance of the course. Cancellation charges may also apply.

Walk Leader Training is delivered for FREE to organisations and groups registered with Paths for All Scottish Health Walk Network.

Need something a little more bespoke?

We know organisations sometimes need a more tailored approach. If so, we can adapt courses or design and deliver specific training to meet your individual needs. Please, just ask.

We can help you to review your organisations learning needs (staff, volunteers and trustees), mapping to national occupation standards where relevant.  And we can deliver facilitated sessions to support you to review your services or plan new ones. There is a charge for these services, so please talk to us if this is of interest. We may be able to help you source funding to meet any costs involved.
