Despite lots of opportunities for renewable energy, many communities across Scotland struggle to access and benefit from natural resources on our doorstep.
Community Energy means projects developed by the community and ‘profit’ that is managed locally and reinvested to meet local need, for example, through community action plans.
Join the West Dumbartonshire Climate Hub and Community Energy Scotland to hear first hand experiences of taking on a windfarm, installing solar PV on schools, or developing Scotland’s first community owned battery. There will be time for questions and discussion.
