Employer-supported volunteering (ESV) offers a growing opportunity for everyone to get involved in the community.

In ESV, an employer supports staff to take part in some volunteering during working hours. The activities chosen might be practical (taking part in a local clean-up) or more skills-focussed (designing a website). Some companies nominate a volunteering day each year, others a more regular
