Community Asset Transfer Support
Community Asset Transfer (CAT) involves the transfer of the responsibility for an asset from a public body such as the local authority to a community group or third sector organisation. This can be done through either a transfer of management responsibility, short-or-long term lease, or through the transfer of outright ownership.
We can assist local organisations in a number of ways including:
- Offering awareness sessions
- Helping you set up appropriate structures
- Support to develop feasibility studies
- Writing up business plans
