Mind to Mind is a dedicated NHS Inform site that helps people who may be facing challenges with their mental health and wellbeing.
Offering a starting point for anyone struggling, the site features a range of advice and support including more than 30 videos of people talking about their own mental wellbeing challenges.
The site also features commentary from a range of professionals, including GPs and signposts where people can access further help and support from organisations across Scotland.
Covering topics including dealing with anxiety and panic, moving through grief, coping with money worries, handling stress, loneliness or isolation, each contributor shares practical advice on what has worked for them.
By sharing stories and experiences of others, Mind to Mind resources show people they are never alone and that help is available.
The Mind to Mind website is for adults in Scotland looking for ways to stay well and look after their mental wellbeing.
The peer-to-peer advice is designed to support people with mild to moderate mental health needs who haven’t sought help, and those diagnosed with a mental health condition who would benefit from self- management resources or need help to access further support.
Parent Club’s ‘Parental Mental Health’ Campaign
Mental health can affect the whole family, but parents often focus on their child and forget to look after themselves. Negative thoughts can impact how parents feel, while some can be acknowledged and dismissed, others may weigh parents down. Parent Club has lots of wellbeing tips and advice to support parents and carers during difficult times, plus some tips on how the whole family can look after their mental health.
Parent Club’s are also on Facebook and Instagram share posts where relevant.
