VIVA Awards: Shortlist

The VIVA (Valuing Involvement and Volunteering Achievements) awards, organised by West Dunbartonshire CVS, the third sector support agency, will celebrate the unique contribution volunteers make across the authority. 

The Awards Ceremony will take place on November 27th at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.

The VIVA 2025 nominations shortlist is: 

Volunteer of the Year 
David Henderson  – Salvation Army, Clydebank
Marjory McGregor –  Bonhill Primary School
Andy Myall – Rock Community Church, Dumbarton

Young Volunteer of the Year (11-25)
Dean Andrews – Dalmuir Barclay Church Community Pantry and 1st Glen Lusset Scout Group
InVoice Forum – Y Sort It
Jason Parkinson – Clyde Shopmobility

Volunteer Manager of the Year

Joanne McGinley – Carers of West Dunbartonshire
Callum Shipcott – Y Sort It
Esther Uwanda-Mordi – African Women’s Support Network

Volunteer Involving Organisation of the Year
Dalmuir Golf Course SCIO
Helensburgh & Lomond First Responders
Time for Tully

Volunteer Unsung Hero
Alistair Conarty – West Dunbartonshire Community Council Forum
Margaret Maceira – Clyde Shopmobility
James Reilly – Stepping Stones
