The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults

The Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults opens for applications on Monday 1st September.

The overarching aim of the Fund is to support grassroots, community-based initiatives that promote and develop good mental health and wellbeing and/or mitigate and protect against the impact of distress and mental ill health within the adult population (aged 16 or over).

Year 5 the fund would be delivered as part of a multiyear programme of delivery, as part of the Scottish Government’s Fairer Funding pilot. The pilot has been set up to provide more certainty and allow for longer-term planning, aiming to improve stability and cost-efficiency for organisations and services.

This means we will aim to dedicate 80% of this year’s allocated funding towards 2 year projects.

If your organisation is interested in applying, we have our first online awareness session on Friday 25th July at 10am to offer guidance prior to opening.

Other dates and online booking form can be found on our Managed Funds page.

You can also contact us at info@wdcvs.com or call 0141 941 0886 to book a place on one of our awareness sessions.
