Clydebank Women’s Aid have announced their intention to close their service and refuge provision permanently on 13th August 2025 with referrals and direct support ceasing on 17th July 2025.
To ensure victims of domestic, including children and young people, continue to access support at the earliest opportunity, a list of domestic abuse services as well as resources within West Dunbartonshire and national context has been made available below.
Current refuge accommodation in West Dunbartonshire is provided through Dumbarton District Women’s Aid, with the provision of 10 self-contained flats within the refuge building.
